About this event
Come along to Gosforth Nature Reserve for a session working on the natural flood management work in the woodland around the Whitecroft burn. We will be adding to and repairing the existing 'beaver dam', and digging through the embankment to reconnect the floodplain and historic route of the burn.
Please bring wellies, and wear old clothing you don't mind getting muddy. Might be worth bringing waders too, if you have them!
Ages 16+ only.
Please note in the event of really bad weather or high winds, this session cannot go ahead as the reserve will be closed for safety. If in doubt, please check our website under 'Visit Gosforth Nature Reserve' for updates.
