BearLive Presents: 'Half Light'

The Bear is a Christian church based in Deptford, South East London.We are a diverse and growing group of people committed to God and others.The Bear currently meets on Sunday at  the Church of the Ascension, Blackheath at 12pm.  At 6pm we  meet at Evelyn Community Centre, Deptford, serving food to those who need a meal, followed by a short worship service at 7pm.

Thought provoking, intense and life affirming in equal measure, last year’s event Nocturne was an outstanding success. BearLive is proud to announce the next episode: Half Light. An evening of pastoral classical soundscapes, evocative and melodic contemporary jazz and a little bit of something in between. We welcome back virtuoso pianist and composer, Phil Merriman (CeCe Peniston, Shola Ama) this time with full band, together with a number of special guest performers including cellist, Wayne Urquhart (Moby, Cinematic Orchestra), bassist, Paul Kimber (Royal Opera House, London Philharmonic) plus more guests (tbc) on the night.
