Bearsted CAN Walk our Green Spaces

As part of Maidstone's Big Day Out, everybody is invited to join Bearsted CAN on a walk connecting the green spaces in the village.

We will walk from Meadowbank, a natural area managed by Bearsted Parish Council, on to Bearsted Station Roadside Nature Reserve, an area managed for wildlife by Bearsted CAN the to Bearsted Village Green, then to the Bearsted Woodland Trust managed by a dedicated trust for the area then via the Len Valley to the Spot Lane Local Nature Reserve managed by a partnership between MBC and DPC and then on to Mote Park for a picnic. There will be short talks by experts on each of the points of interest as we progress on the walk.

Where exactly does the event start?

We are starting at Meadowbank which is a small natural area along the footpath from Hampson Way to Bell Lane, but we will meet in Hampson Way for those who are not familiar with the location.

How far is the walk?

4 miles to Mote Park and then what ever the return trip is for you.

Is the walk accessible?

Yes, there are no steps or rough walking sections on the walk.
