A programme of guided walks that will reveal Dorset’s stunning landscapes, hidden corners and rich heritage, offering everything from gentle strolls to more challenging walks.

Join in with this free annual tradition to "Beat the Bounds" of the old Roman Walls! We will be joined by musicians and actors to make it a fun and noisy walk. Bring pots, pans and instruments to join in with the walking and noise making.The Beating of the Bounds is an ancient tradition, derived from a Roman festival dedicated to Terminus, God of Landmarks.No need to book - just turn up on the day and we look forward to celebrating a fitting finale to 9 days of inspiring walks enjoying the beauty of Dorchester, its stunning landscapes and rich history.
