The session will build attendees’ confidence while increasing their skillsets with coding tools.  </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>By the end of the session you should be able to:  </p><p></p><ul><li>Understand and describe the benefits of using R or Python for developing good shareable code   </li><li>Define and plan out a code project  </li><li>Know and be able to apply the foundations of creating and writing clean code  </li><li>Be able to test code rigorously and suggest improvements when peer reviewing other people’s code  </li><li>Identify where to find training and support  </li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2>W﻿ho should attend this event</h2><p> Audience and requirements </p><p></p><ul><li>ADR UK Research Fellows and any SRS users who are interested in sharing value added code for addition to code repositories or for supporting wider analytical publications </li><li>The session does not have a fixed programming language  </li><li>Basic knowledge of analysis is assumed </li></ul><p></p><h2>Contact us</h2><p>If you have any questions about this workshop, please email srs.engagement.team@ons.gov.uk</p>
