6 weeks introduction in what it takes to become a beekeeper. You will learn<ul><li>Introduction to the Ealing and District Beekeepers Association</li><li>Components of a hive and the different types available</li><li>Origins and the life cycle of a honey bee</li><li>Swarming </li><li>Queen rearing</li><li>Importance as pollinators</li><li>Year in the Apiary</li><li>Products of the hive</li><li>Harvesting and selling honey</li><li>Healthy bees and pests</li><li>Brood diseases and Adult diseases</li></ul>There will be opportunity to attend various practicals at our local apiart during April and May.These session will be held at the Litten Nature Reserve, Greenford starting on Monday 11th of March until the 29th of April, with a 2 week gap. Bellow are dates in full.<ul><li>March 11th</li><li>March 18th</li><li>March 25th </li><li>April 1st </li><li>April 8th </li><li>April 29th</li></ul>
