Beginner crochet course (4-session course)
Never held a hook? Welcome! In this 12-hour, in-person beginner course, you’ll learn all the crochet basics from start to finish.
Please note: This is a 4-session course. A single ticket grants access to all sessions; individual sessions are not sold separately.
Wednesday 7 January 2026, 6-9pm
Wednesday 14 January 2026, 6-9pm
Wednesday 21 January 2026, 6-9pm
Wednesday 28 January 2026, 6-9pm
Session 1: During the first session, you'll learn about the basics of crochet, how to:
- hold the hook
- start a project
- do slip knots and chains
- and you will have fun with single crochet stitches
Session 2: In the second session, you will learn how to increase and decrease the number of crochet stitches in a row which will result in endless possibilities when it comes to creating a project.
Session 3: This session is all about curves. We'll have enough back and forth and it will feel like a breeze of fresh air going around without being worried about the edges. Balls, baskets, hats, and stuffed animals. Not a problem anymore.
Session 4: We'll tie up any loose ends (pun intended), answer any final questions, and maybe even tackle that elusive project that’s been on your mind. But more than anything, this session is about letting you fly solo, equipped with all the tools (and hooks) you need.
