About your tutor
Sara was introduced to quilting quite by chance. Whilst walking through a local town she noticed a fabric shop was hosting a patchwork taster session. An hour later she was hooked. Her first quilt was a traditional machine pieced log cabin using beautiful batiks fabrics but now she enjoys using different techniques in the same quilt e.g. sashiko, appliqué, candle wicking and celtic knots.
She has taught patchwork for a number of years and love passing on the joy of stitching and making beautiful handmade items.
