Beginners Birdwatching Walk at Oare Marshes

As part of our 12 Walks of Christmas series, this is a beginners birdwatching walk at KWT Oare Marshes Reserve

Through the festive season this year join us to escape the Christmas chaos for a gentle walk around the coastline with time to stop and observe the birds we spot along the way. The walk is suitable for beginners and experienced birders alike. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance.

Meeting place - Oare Marshes Nature Reserve

Time - 10am - 12 noon

Parking - parking on site

Facilities - There are no toilet facilities at this location - the nearest ones are in the pubs and cafes in the village or the Sainsburys nearby.

Type of walk - A circular route around the reserve and in the hides. Paths are fairly flat but can be muddy if it has been raining so suitable footwear is recommended
