6 week comedy class for beginners plus public performance run by Viv Gee.
Viv Gee has been teaching stand-up comedy skills since 1998 with past students including Des Mclean, Des Clarke, Susie McCabe, Richard Gadd, Jay Lafferty and many more.
In 2025 she was a nominee for the Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award and presented with the Lord Provost’s 850 award for her contribution to Glasgow’s comedy scene. She was also the recipient of the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Comedy at the inaugural Scottish Comedy Awards.
The 6-week course will cover storytelling for stand-up, attitude, topical material, structure, timing, delivery, microphone technique and performing.
No previous experience is necessary, this comedy course is for those who aspire to be a stand-up comedian, those who want to improve their confidence or those who just want to try something fun.
The 6 week course will run every Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm from 5th January to 9th February .
On Tuesday 16th January the class will have a public performance with all proceeds going to a charity TBC
