Beginners' Macrame

Beginners' Macrame

Overview

Learn the relaxing craft of macramé knotting and create a decorative handmade textile piece.

Led by fashion designer and tutor Anastasia Kuatkhina, this beginner-friendly workshop introduces the fundamental macramé knots used to produce wall hangings, plant holders, and decorative textiles.

You will learn how to:

• Work with natural cord materials

• Master the essential macramé knots

• Combine knots to create structured patterns and textures

During the workshop, you will build a personal reference library of knot samples, which can serve as a guide for future macramé and textile craft projects.

By the end of the workshop, you will complete a small macramé wall hanging while gaining the skills to continue exploring this craft independently.
