This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and provides an introduction to modern calligraphy. You will learn how to use a pointed nib and ink, working through warm-up exercises to teach you the basics, practising letterforms and joining up letters.

The workshop includes a talk about how to create your own modern calligraphy style and you'll finish off by making your own calligraphy piece with the help of a unique template.

All materials are included in the workshop. Your kit will include a penholder, 2 nibs, ink, metallic paint and original worksheets & templates.
