Beginning Coding

This one day workshop will introduce you to a framework for progression in computational thinking and coding, helping you to understand different ways to plan for and teach pupils how to code throughout the Key Stages.

If you are hoping to introduce coding into your classroom and school for the first time and aren't quite sure what the best approach is, this course is tailor-made for you. We will be going through content, key terms, and apps suitable for each level of progression, giving you real-world examples of how each was applied in different classrooms across Northern Ireland.
