ProjectOurs is a Brighton-based collective of women and gender minority filmmakers. Our practice centres playfulness, kindness, and reciprocity in making of our work; we build each other up, we welcome faux-pas and we encourage creative journeys.

Are you interested in camera equipment but don&#x27;t know where to start? Feel a little intimidated by technology, jargon and tech bros? This is the event for you. Join us to speak to women and gender minority filmmakers about their roles, and have a go at tinkering with different equipment. There are no silly questions, only a friendly and welcoming space to share knowledge amongst each other.Join ProjectOurs Collective for a roundtable discussion with female DoPs, Camera Operators, Directors and Sound Technicians, discussing topics such as barriers into the industry, on set experiences and safeguarding. This will be followed by a hands-on display of a range of different types of cameras and kit.
