This conference is an opportunity to take part in a conversation about theology and masculinities.

There are more and more conversations happening around men’s mental health, the impact of toxic masculinity, etc. But there are very few theology resources that ask questions around, for example, how men’s bodies shape the Church as the body of Christ, or what it means to call God father today, when ideas about fatherhood are changing.During the conference, contributors to the book, Behold the Men (edited by Robert Beckford and Rachel Starr, and due to be published by SCM in 2022) will share in conversation with others. You are invited to engage with a diverse range of theological voices reflecting on some of the different experiences of being a man in Britain today.The conference will include discussion panels and workshops on a range of topics.
