In this interactive session, Dr Lu Qiao , Assistant Professor in Accounting and Finance at Leeds University Business School, will share her latest research on how the rise of AI is reshaping corporate decision-making in meaningful and practical ways. Rather than focusing on technical detail, she will explore how intelligent tools are influencing real-world business practice, from strategic choices to organisational change. It will also touch on key governance and ethical considerations surrounding these technologies, highlighting the opportunities and challenges they present. Finally, Dr Qiao will consider what these developments mean for future career pathways, offering valuable insights for professionals navigating an evolving business landscape.

These events are exclusively for Leeds University Business School alumni, and we’d love for you to join us. There is no charge to attend, but places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to high demand, we’re unable to offer places to the wider University of Leeds community or external guests. Bookings from non-Business School alumni will be cancelled.
