<h3>Welcome to Being In Learning!</h3>NATD Conference 1st &amp; 2nd November 2024NATD Conference 2024 will explore being in role. The concepts of 'living through' and metaxis will be central in enabling participants to understand the construction of classroom dramas that will 'involve a visceral, affective immersion in the event leading to an imaginative reasoned reflection' (David Davis, Imagining the Real 2014). Using the story of Antigone, workshops and keynotes will lay bare the process of planning work that enables students to experience an event and reflexively bring drama to life. The 1st November will comprise online sessions featuring both international and UK practitioners. They will complement the practical work of the actual conference on 2nd November.
