This event is only open to unpaid carers living in or caring for someone in Edinburgh and Midlothian.
About the event: This quarterly bereavement group offers a compassionate space for carers who have experienced the loss of someone they cared for. This group provides an opportunity to explore these feelings in a safe and supportive environment.
Facilitated by experienced staff, each session gently guides conversation while allowing space for personal reflection and shared experiences. There is no pressure to speak - you are welcome to contribute as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
The group focuses on connection, understanding, and coping, offering practical strategies for navigating grief, rebuilding routine, and adjusting to life after caring. Meeting quarterly allows carers to check in at different stages of their bereavement journey while building supportive peer connections over time.
This is a calm, respectful space where experiences are validated, and no one has to navigate loss alone.
