Daytrips and shopping will never be the same again. Look super-cool in your very own bespoke backpack. Featuring a roll-top, hanging loop, adjustable straps, zipped pocket and reinforced base, this cute bag will be your daily go-to. The course includes pattern, full instructions, strapping and metal hardware in a choice of silver or gold. You just need your favourite fabric. The finished backpack measures approx 30 x 32 cms.

What you will need to bring:

You will need a packed lunch

We would prefer you to bring your own sewing machine but if this is not possible we do have a range of machines you can hire for £5.

A generous half metre (full width) of outer fabric - heavier weight is better, such as canvas or denim. Curtain fabric or light upholstery fabric is also suitable. If necessary we can provide iron-on interfacing to strengthen a lighter weight fabric.

A generous 1/2 metre of lightweight fabric for the lining—we have plenty for sale in the shop.

Fat quarter / 1/4 metre of medium-weight contrast fabric for the base—alternatively you can use the same fabric as the main bag.

Matching thread for the outside of the bag - we do sell a wide range of threads.
