Kay Blayney will perform her work “Between Borders: then and now” inviting the audience to reflect on neighbouring places through time, uncovering past connections that shape the present. This creative experience captures the spirit of place, time and evolving identities of Cambridge and Royston.
Kay taught Drama at Parkside Community College and became Head of Creative and Expressive Arts across the Parkside Federation Academy. She has been writing for many years and was short-listed for the Eastern Region Escalator Award. She also served as Rock Road Library’s second writer-in-residence. Kay’s passion is creating a space that is inclusive and celebrates people, place and community.
