Can I come if I don't have an EHCP?

Accepted Answer

This event is only for those with an EHCP in years 9 and above, due to the numbers of young people and the space available.

However, all information shared will be available on the Bexley Local Offer, a website for anyone with any level of SEND, aged 0-25, in Bexley.

Question 2

Can I come if I don't live or study in Bexley?

Accepted Answer

If you have a Bexley EHCP, it doesn't matter which school you go to - you can still attend.

If you don't live in Bexley, but you have a social worker in Bexley and an EHCP wherever you live, you are also able to come along.

Question 3

Do I have to stay for the whole event?

Accepted Answer

No, you can come along and leave at whatever times you like. Last entry will be 5pm, to give you time to look around!

The only fixed times are if you book onto a talk. You must be there on time for the talk or we won't be able to let you in, because we don't want to disturb the session.

What if I can't make this day?

Accepted Answer

We really hope everyone can come who wants to, but we know that some people will miss out. We will put all of the information that we can onto the Bexley Local Offer after the event - www.bexleylocaloffer.uk.

We also plan for this to be an annual event, so hopefully you can make it next year!

Is there parking on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there's lots of free parking at Hall Place.

Question 6

Can I get there by public transport?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can use buses 229, B12, 132 and 492 - they all travel to the 'Gravel Hill Close' stop (same for both directions). Then it is a very short walk down the hill, towards the roundabout, going left at the roundabout to Hall Place.

Question 7

How many tickets can I get?

Accepted Answer

We are asking that no more than 2 additional guests attend with each young person. This is because we want to ensure the maximum number of young people can benefit from the information on offer. Additional guests are optional; our young people are welcome to attend on their own.
