Overview

For Falls Prevention Week we are running a 2 part mini-series on the power of sensor based technology

This session is designed to share the benefits of using sensor based technology from a care organisation and service user perspective. The benefits of using sensor technology for falls prevention are well known, but there are a wide range of other benefits which can be seen when using sensors. For example, improvements to sleep and service user wellbeing.

This session will include insights, data and statistics from Ally Cares as well as guest talks from care providers who are using sensor based technologies. Care England will provide an introduction to the topic and session.

Who can attend?

These sessions have been designed for adult social care providers in England and are aimed at people who make decisions about the use of technology in care services.

This might include:

  • Owners
  • Registered Managers
  • Nurses
  • Senior Care Staff
  • Administrators
  • IT Professionals
  • Quality & Compliance Leads

In addition, we are often joined by people who support adult social care providers with digitisation – this includes ICB digital leads, local and national care associations, commissioners, technology suppliers and consultants.
