Beyond The New Normal: Managing People Remotely (Workshop 2)
Event Information
About this Event
Now more than ever, the need to manage properly stands out. Managing properly means motivating and energising people, communicating in crystal clear terms – the good news and the bad, raising the bar, setting stretching goals, putting wellbeing and mental health high up your list and supporting people to ensure they can thrive in their roles and progress in their careers. Yes, feedback on remote working has been mostly positive. But most of the positives have been tied to personal conditions, like less travel time and cost, or more time to prioritise things people want for themselves, and balance work. The opportunity to create a culture where people are engaged and energised at work is now. This opportunity has to be taken by managers at all levels to lead people through 2020 and beyond. To get the best from individuals and teams, and to do the best for yourself and your organisation.
Our series of remote development modules are positioned to support leaders at all levels to stand out now to lead their teams through the whatever happens next.
Our workshops are remotely-delivered, small, friendly sessions.
Workshop 2 focuses on leading change. Change is what happens. Transition is how people adapt. This 3 hour session will enable you to:
- Understand the differences and overlaps between change and transition
- Use Kotter’s 8 Step Change model in a practical way to lead change in your organisation, immediately and ongoing
- Apply the skillset from workshop 1 to support and engage people to transition well to changes in your organisation
