Event description

Description

How do I use my short film as a calling card to make the leap to features?

Come and join our experts Roxy McKenna (Film Hub North) and Matt Ajan (Film London) at this roundtable to discuss all things 'shorts' - from changing trends in short film consumption, and how to get your short film seen, to the best ways to utilise your work on short films to further your career.

Roxy is responsible for designing and delivering NFM’s Tees Valley SME innovation and growth development programmes as well as supporting creative companies through NFM’s strategic market access and development funding. Roxy also manages NFM’s commissioning strands and is responsible for developing a range of collaborative projects with creative industry partners.

Matt joined Film London from a background in nuturing new and developing talent, through running Bounce, a youth-powered pop-up cinema that tackles the lack of diversity in the film industry, and Teardusk, a social enterprise that Mathieu founded and runs to help creative young people.

YOU MUST BE AN EIFF PASSHOLDER TO BOOK A MEETING.

YOU MAY ONLY SIGN UP FOR THREE 20 MINUTE SESSIONS IN TOTAL, WITH A MAX. OF ONE MEETING PER TABLE.
