Enjoy Bluegrass and Americana? Come and see the best Edinburgh has to offer!

The Banjo Lounge 4 are an Edinburgh-based all acoustic crate digging mash-ups band delivering classics in an original and imaginative packaging. With 5 string banjo, acoustic guitar, double bass, stripped down drum-kit and 4 vocalists, some really do say that their bluegrass-funk interpretations are better than the originals.

Ali Affleck. Awarded 'Jazz Vocalist of the Year ' in the prestigious Scottish Jazz Awards 2014 - presented by the Scottish Jazz Federation, Ali Affleck appears with the Bedlam Blues Trio. Thos class act are utterly brimming with the evocative and cheeky attitude of the late 1920s.

Cera Impala is a wild banjo-wielding mama from the USA who has toured internationally. A magnetic songsmith, she has a voice both timeless and unique. Her compositions and lyrics spin genuine and intimate yarns. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays ukelele, guitar, and her very own brand of hard-driving clawhammer banjo. Performing with relaxed charm, wit, intelligence and passion, she appears with her band, The New Prohibition.

Edgehill play Classic Country. Songs from Merle Haggard, George Jones, Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris and Johnny Cash and June Carter are played on a twanging Telecaster and acoustic guitar, underpinned with a firm beat and strong bass, while two voices sing in harmony. Sometimes the banjo makes an appearance.
