<h2>B﻿iBFest: How to grow healthy, happy children</h2>Born in Bradford is one of the largest research studies in the UK, tracking the lives of over 60,000 Bradfordians to find out what influences their health and wellbeing. Evidence from Born in Bradford has helped to change policy and practice and develop innovative ways to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.Join us for our 9th scientific festival in the beautiful Salts Mill in the World Heritage village of Saltaire where we will share exciting new findings about how our society, our lifestyles, our genes and our environment shape our lives.Our research aims to answer the following questions to promote the heath and wellbeing of families in Bradford:<ul><li>Why do some children stay healthy while others get ill?</li><li>How can we lead healthy, active lives?</li><li>What helps children do well at school?</li><li>What helps give children the best start in life?</li><li>How important is our environment for health?</li><li>What it is like for teenagers growing up in Bradford?</li><li>How can we ensure our communities are at the heart of our research?</li></ul>This is a festival for families, practioners, policy makers and researchers, we would love you to join us.This event is kindly sponsored by ActEarlyGetting here and car parkingSalts Mill is easily accessed by public transport. Saltaire train station is right outside with regular trains from Leeds and surrounding areas. We encourage you to leave your car at home if you can.
