I’m Mwa, founder of JoyWorkshop.uk, where we turn everyday fun into hands-on creative skill workshops for adults and kids.I’ve hosted burrito and pizza-making classes for kids, sip and paints for adults, led online mocktail workshops during lockdown, and now provide mocktails for events. It made me realise so many people would love to learn these simple but joyful skills, so I brought them together into one fun space! Think fun food, vibes, a speaker with your favourite tunes and a space for friends or family to create together!Adults - Cake decorating, mocktail mixing, sip and paint are the activities we currently offer. More to come soon.Kids- It’s all about Montessori-style creative play - cupcake decorating, pizza building, and learning fun, practical skills that build independence and confidence whilst having a boogie!If you love the idea of leaving with something you made yourself, come through! Whether it’s a party, a team event, or just because you’ll have fun, learn something new, and take home more more than just a smile on your face!Can’t wait to host you!

<h2>Biblically Inspired Cooking Class</h2>Join us for a fun and tasty in-person cooking experience where we'll whip up dishes inspired by scripture. We’re going to dive into some of the most beautiful, flavoursome and tasty dishes in the Bible such as lamb kofta and unleavened (flat) breads. You’ll learn where they appear in scripture, their significance, and their meaning — and then we’ll learn how to make them! Check us out on instagram @joyworkshopUK<ul><li>By the end of the class, you’ll leave not just with delicious meals, but also with biblical knowledge and insight into how the Bible intends us to fuel our bodies.</li><li>We’ll explore various fish and meats as well as the education down to the use of olive oil and its significance right through to the meanings behind the flavours and dishes.</li><li>This class isn’t just about cooking; it’s about connecting deeper with God, understanding scripture, and enjoying a joyful, hands-on experience.</li><li>Every session is hands-on, and all ingredients will be provided.</li></ul>

Agenda

Step into the flavors and stories of the Bible!
Over this hands-on cooking experience, we’ll explore dishes inspired by scripture - from lamb kofta and fresh unleavened (flat) breads with mint sauce to fresh fish dishes and hearty, wholesome sides.
Each session is designed to:
1. Bring the Bible to life through food and flavor.
2. Teach you the scripture behind each dish and its significance.
3. Give you a chance to taste, create, and enjoy biblical meals with others.
