Big Cityyy Arts presents Big Cityyy Burlesque!
Big Cityyy Burlesque is a dance based burlesque class for people of all levels to move, embrace and refresh their bodies with bold and bawdy movement. Your teacher, Rubyyy - that's with three Y's - Jones will warm you up, teach you a little routine and inpsire you to let loose and go deep in this energising and electrifying class.
All bodies and abilities welcome, must be over 18, but no burlesque or dance experience is required; this is a class for exploring, playing with and showing off the ways our bodies are unique, dynamic and thrilling. Classes in 2024 will be the first Saturday of the month at C.O.R.E Dance Project, each class will have different energy and choreography so sign up for one or both! Tickets are donation based/Pay What You Can and we recommend a minimum of $15/class if your budget allows; no questions asked though, we'd rather have you dance!
Rubyyy Jones is a Burlesque innovator and dance professional who has worked in theatre and cabaret for two decades, headlined every excellent burlesque festival in the UK and Europe and was inducted into the Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2017. Rubyyy has taught burlesque arts and theatre practices all over the world and is excited to be launching this class in Paris, Ontario.
