Come join us for an informative and interactive sewing workshop series!
If you are a complete beginner or just looking to brush up on your skills, this event is perfect for you; we'll cover all the basics to get you going on your machine sewing journey. In this series, you will make your very own binder/sketchbook cover across three sessions and learn a number of beginner sewing techniques and top tips.
The workshop will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Broadway Street West in Paris, ON. All material costs are included in the price, however we ask that you bring your own machine. If you need to borrow one please get in touch.
This course will be taught by your local tailor and sewing expert Prinx Lydia. They have over 15 years experience in making costumes for theatre, film and tv in London, England and now they are sharing the sewing love and joy here in Brant County. They have taught sewing for over 10 years professionally at various levels from total novices all the way through to degree programmes in historical costume.
