From Forest to Ornament: Create your Christmas Ornaments using Biomaterials

Join A New Field founders and team as they guide you through making your own plastic-free biomaterial — Forest Clay — from foraged ingredients.

Celebrate the festive season with a hands-on workshop where nature meets design.
Using A New Field Kits biomaterial toolkit, you’ll learn how to craft your own Christmas ornaments from pine cones and other natural materials.


here's what to expect:

1. Forage:
   You’ll start in the great outdoors, collect your ingredients. We’ll be looking for pine cones and pine needles - these will be the key ingredient in your biomaterial.
2. Process:
   Bring your ingredients back to the A New Field ‘lab’ nearby where you’ll learn how to process your foraged items and mix them with other natural ingredients to make a biomaterial.
3. Make:
   Choose an A New Field mould to make christmas ornaments, candle holders, toy animals or freestyle and make whatever you want! You’ll be able to take your products home at the end of the session to bake and decorate.

Extra Details:

The workshop will take us outdoors and involve messy activities, so wear a coat, sturdy shoes and old clothes.

Price includes tea, coffee and a snack.

Tickets include 1 Freestyle Kit (value 25€).
All other necessary materials will be provided during the workshop.

O que esperar:

1. Recolher:
   Começamos ao ar livre, onde irás apanhar os ingredientes. Vamos procurar pinhas e agulhas de pinheiro, queserão o ingrediente principal do teu projecto
2. Processar:
   Traz os ingredientes para o “laboratório” da A New Field, onde vais aprender a processar o que recolheste e a misturá-lo com outros elementos naturais para criar o teu biomaterial.
3. Criar:
   Escolhe o teu projecto decorações de Árvore de Natal, porta-velas, pequenos brinquedos ou cria o que quiseres! No final da sessão, poderás levar as tuas peças para casa para as cozer e decorar.

Detalhes Extra:
O workshop vai levar-nos para o exterior da quinta, por isso traz um casaco, calçado resistente e roupa que se possa sujar.
O preço inclui chá e café.
