Join us for a fun and exciting day at the University of Exeter, Penryn Campus on May 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM (BST). Whether you're a nature newbie or a seasoned explorer, this Bioblitz is your chance to discover local wildlife, meet fellow nature lovers, and help record species in the area. Bring your curiosity and comfy shoes – it’s going to be a blast!

Join us for a fun and exciting day at the University of Exeter, Penryn Campus on May 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM (BST). Whether you're a nature newbie or a seasoned explorer, this Bioblitz is your chance to discover local wildlife, meet fellow nature lovers, and help record species in the area. Bring your curiosity and comfy shoes – it’s going to be a blast!
Tickets are not required to attend the event
There will be stalls and talks from local organisations:
Borneo Nature Foundation, Budding Nature, Bumble Bee Conservation, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Josh Symes, The Rockpool Project, Screech Owl Sanctuary, Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Spaldings Associates, and The Woodland Trust.
Throughout the day activities will be happening, including moth traps, pond dipping, sweep netting for insects in the grass, plant ID walks, mammal trapping, bee ID sessions, bird walks, spider walks, bat surveys, nature bingo, and a photography competition!
Some activities occur outside of the main time.
