If you have a business or idea you wish to explore, and are interested in applying to the DEVELOP Programme, our Pre-Accelerator Workshop is the perfect place to start!

These are free to attend and designed to bring together scientists, technologists, entrepreneurs and professionals to explore the commercial viability of their ideas.

Over the course of the Pre-Accelerator, you will learn the ‘lean start-up’ and customer discovery methodology to create scalable opportunities for investment.

The Pre-Accelerator also provides an opportunity to informally discuss your idea or business with BioCity coaches, mentors and members of our investment team.

There are limited spaces available on the Pre-Accelerator so ensure early sign up to avoid dissappointment.

It is important that participants attend all elements of the Pre-Accelerator

1. Would I need to prepare anything beforehand?

You will need to prepare a 3 minute introductory pitch of your business idea to fellow participants on the first day of the workshop.

2. Do I need to bring anything with me?
If you have a laptop, please bring it along.

3. Will food be provided?
Drinks, (tea, coffee and water) and lunch will be provided for as part of the event during all three days.
