Overview
Bipolar UK is delighted to offer a 8-week course, looking at areas such as diagnosis, lifestyle, medication, talking therapies and an optional family and friends' session at the end. Supported by (BPEC - Bipolar Psychoeducation course materials from Cardiff University), to enable people affected by bipolar to learn more about self-management and live well with the condition.
Eligibility
To take part you should have a diagnosis of bipolar and be able to attend the course each week for the full 8-week duration starting on 16 April and concluding on 4 June. The course is for people living with bipolar in Oxford Blackbird Leys.
By signing up to this course you also agree to receive emails directly from Bipolar UK that are relevant to the self-management course. You will be required to complete and return an emergency contact form. This will be emailed to you seperately once you have booked a ticket.

- Week 5 – 14 May - Psychological Therapies
- Week 6 - 21 May - Lifestyle (routines and sleep hygiene, nutrition)
- Week 7 - 28 May - Bringing it together (reflective end session, tool kit completion)
- Week 8 - 4 June - Family and friends session (optional)
