Bird Call Identification

Bird Call Identification

Overview

Join Claire Marsden, the local BTO representative for a morning of listening to woodland bird calls and tuning into the sights and sounds.

This FREE session is aimed at those new to bird song or wishing to improve and will help individuals to identify woodland birds by their song and distinguish between songs and calls. There will be some discussion around apps and how to use them effectively. There are several BTO bird survey projects that people can participate in whether in an urban or rural location. Bring a snack and drink for a mid-morning break. A notebook and pencil will be useful. Bring binoculars and a bird book if you have them.
