Bird Therapy Arts Workshop

A qualified fine artist and illustrator with experience and training as a carer for a young adult with mental health, and other aspects of mental health care.Over ten years' postgraduate experience as an artist and illustrator, working in a variety of mediums. I run various workshops, and am hoping to continue with Peace Painting workshops in particular.The "Blackbird" is my artists' signature, and refences The Beatles song and the lyrics "Take these broken wings and learn to fly".All information is available on my website.

Bird Therapy Art Workshops With Illustrator Helen Dearnley BA (hons) aka Blackbird
Monthly art workshops for people experiencing depression, anxiety and / or other MH problems, or carers’ respite. Also available for general wellbeing.
Led by a professional artist with experience and training as a carer, they offer the chance to experience working with a wide range of materials and techniques, including drawing, recording visual information, printmaking, zine making, comics and collage. No experience necessary 1 hour of art viewing and discussion followed by 1 hour of art making.
