Birdwatching for beginners at Gresley Woods

Get ready to explore the world of birdwatching in a fun and interactive way, perfect for beginners looking to connect with nature!

Take a guided wander around Gresley Wood and surrounding areas with knowledgeable birder Tony, to find out what lives there. We will look out and listen for woodland birds as they start to prepare their nests and protect their territories ready for spring.

We will walk from Albert Village Lake car park and cross the road to explore the Gresley Woods complex.

Suitable for families. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We will be sticking to surfaced paths, but they may be wet if we have had lots of rain.

We will be moving quite slowly, so dress for warmth and don't expect a speedy hike! Bring binoculars if you have them, and wear warm/waterproof clothes and sturdy footwear.
