Birkenhead Road Improvements Workshop
Join us for an interactive workshop to share your views on travelling around Birkenhead Road.
We're looking at how we can improve Birkenhead Road in terms of travelling via car, walking, wheeling or cycling.
Context
Birkenhead Road is an important route to help reach the places where people live and work, as well as businesses and local destinations such as Seacombe Ferry Terminal and Eureka! Science + Discovery. We want to make sure everyone can travel along this route safely and easily, whether they are walking, wheeling, cycling, using public transport or driving.
Birkenhead Road is an area that we want to review to understand whether improvements could be made. A scheme was previously proposed in 2022, but this did not progress. Wirral Council now intends to take a fresh approach, working closely with local communities and businesses to explore ideas for how the area could be improved in the future.
This project focuses on the section of Birkenhead Road between Kelvin Road and the Eureka Roundabout.
What will the workshop entail?
Join for us for a facilitated workshop to share your views and ideas for the future of Birkenhead Road. This early-stage session will focus on listening to local experiences and priorities, with no fixed designs in place yet.
Please join us for an interactive workshop to ensure it reflects key community and stakeholder aspirations and requirements.
