Due to limited resources we are UNABLE TO ACCEPT LATE BOOKINGS after this date.
This course will be held in Room 2F10 of the Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee.
Wednesday mornings 10.00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m. for five weeks, 4th February to 4th March 2026.
Another season of the programme of ‘book club with no homework’ events. Every week will feature something new, and therefore no pre-reading is required!
Each week we’ll read a short story and a poem together and share our thoughts about them. What did you like about them? What didn’t you like? Discussions will be informal and engaging rather than analytical and academic. The focus will be on reading for pleasure and discovering great writing together.
Tutor: Andy Jackson
Andy Jackson is a writer with four collections of poetry, and also editor of more than a dozen anthologies. He is a former Makar to the Federation of Writers Scotland and is a Royal Literary Fund Fellow. He has been involved in many poetry projects over nearly 20 years and is co-editor of the magazine Poetry Scotland.
