A free event where you can find out how to cut your energy bills, discover renewable technology and make your home more comfortable.
Following the success of Kingston's third Efficient Homes Show earlier in the year, we are hosting a bitesize version at the Guildhall in Kingston Town.
It's free to attend!
It is aimed at:
- Homeowners, renters, landlords, business owners, estate agents and lettings agencies
- People looking for funding to help improve the energy efficiency of their home
- People looking to save on their energy bills
- People looking for training, employment support and jobs in the retrofit and other green economy industries
- People looking to help protect the environment.

- 11:30 - 11:32: Welcome from The Deputy Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Councillor Sue Ansari
- 11:32 - 11:36: Opening remarks by Councillor Ian Manders, Portfolio Holder for Climate Action, Biodiversity and Planning Policy
- 11:36 - 15:30: Main exhibition space is open
- 11:36 - 12:10 PM: A Short Talk about my Low-Carbon Home by Michael de Podesta, the author of ‘Protons for Breakfast’
- 12:30 - 03:00 PM : Short Talks led by Transition Town Kingston (TTK) Energy Group (EG). Covering solar energy, batteries at home, heat-waves, ventilation and insulation coordinated by Damon Hart-Davis, Deputy Chair, Transition Town Kingston
- 03:25 PM: Closing remarks
