Bitesize governance adventure – you have the map, we have the compass!

This highly interactive audience-led workshop will suggest around 20 essential bitesize areas for trustees, directors and volunteers to have on their ‘to do’ list to make sure that their community organisation or charity has good governance in place.

In this interactive and,we hope, fun session, led by Governance Grandmaster Ian Brooke, we will have the opportunity and time to explore and discuss the audience’s top 10 (or 7 if we really get excited).

However, it’s you, the audience, who will choose what we discuss, through online voting as the session progresses. Topics on offer will include:

• running a general meeting
• using a risk register
• tips on funding applications
• delivering a good induction for new committee member
• and dealing with conflict
