Event description

Description

Presenter: Dr Eli Saetnan, LDC Development Team

A crucial part of any research is reading, but as you accumulate papers and books you've read it becomes increasingly challenging to keep track of it all. You also want to ensure that you correctly attribute your sources, and avoid accusations of plagiarism as you develop your text. The focus of this session will be on strategies for keeping up with and keeping track of relevant literature as part of the research process.

The session is primarily aimed at 2nd – 3rd year PGRs, though open to PGRs at all stages. In order to fully participate in this workshop, you will need to come prepared to do some writing. So please bring with you a laptop, or a notebook. You will also need to bring with you one or two papers you are reading as part of your research.

This workshop offers opportunities to gain skills outlined in the RDF subdomains A1 and D2.

Registration: You are recommended to use your university of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
