<H2>The Event</H2>
Challenge yourself to run to the highest point in the South Downs National Park from Fernhurst Recreation Ground, a run of 5 miles involving an ascent of 657ft.
If that seems too far join the shorter family event, 'run around the Rec'.
The runs are being run in support of Pavilion2022, the village project to build a new sports pavilion in Fernhurst.
Awards will be made for those from within the parish and those outside it.
There are limited places for the run to the summit, entry on the day will only be possible if the field is not full.
Online entry closes at 8am on 23rd April.

All those taking part, including accompanying adults do so at their own risk, the organisers will not be responsible for injury, illness or loss.
By participating you are consenting to the use of entrants, names, gender, age and any photographs taken to be used for promotional or publicity purposes.
FAQs
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, minimum age for the run to the summit is 16 years.
None for the 'run around the Rec' although those 8 years or under must be accompanied by an adult, who does not need to enter.
 What will the facilities be?
Showers and changing rooms, refreshments (cafe and bar), 
Parking will be in the car park, on the road and playing field.

Will it be possible to enter on the day?
Yes, but beware that the cost wil be £25.
What's the refund policy?
No refunds, this event is for charity (No.305368), supporting the project (Pavilion2022) to build a new sports pavilion in for the village. 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Ideally yes, although it will be acceptable to see it on your phone.
It is required at registration and to receive your vest number. 
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
No.
