Join Brent Council for a Bleed Kit Training Session delivered by Turtle Engineering at the Unity Centre.
Following the installation of a public Bleed Control Kit in Church End (outside the Unity Centre), Turtle Engineering is delivering a free community training session at Church End and Roundwood Unity Centre, 103 Church Road, London, NW10 9EG.
This session will equip residents with the knowledge and confidence to respond safely and effectively during a bleeding emergency. Attendees will learn what to do if someone is seriously injured, how to quickly access and use a Bleed Control Kit, and how to keep themselves and others safe while help is on the way. The training is practical, accessible, and suitable for people with no prior medical experience.
By empowering local residents with life saving information, this session aims to strengthen community safety, awareness, and preparedness.
What you’ll learn:
- How to recognise and respond to life‑threatening bleeding
- Where local Bleed Control Kits are located and how to access them
- Basic guidance on using bleed control equipment
- How to stay safe and act responsibly in an emergency
This training is open to all residents and community members who want to play a role in keeping communities safer.
