We’re a dinky little arts organisation who are trying to persuade you to take part in more arty stuff around Merseyside. Mainly because it’s proven to make your life a bit better.

Join Karen Edwards of The Red Button Press and learn how to print your own cotton table centre piece and napkins.

Join Karen Edwards of The Red Button Press and learn how to print your own cotton table centre piece and napkins - perfect to add a touch of sustainable style to your Christmas décor or gift to a loved one. Artist/Printmaker Karen will show you how to design and make your own printing blocks made from recycled materials and apply those designs to fabric using one or two colours of your choice. You will then take away your own unique, reusable block printed table centre piece and 4 napkins and the printing skills to apply your own designs to other fabric items. You will be using water-based inks but please wear an apron or old clothes. You will also be using scissors, and a craft knife so please wear your glasses if you need them. Motifs and designs will be provided for reference but please feel free to bring your own ideas and Karen will help you transfer those ideas into blocks. Care instructions will be given in the workshop so they’re reusable for many years to come. There's also an extra twist - your unique printing blocks and napkins will have many more uses - Karen will share inspiration on how to create a whole range of hand printed Christmas goodies! Please note this workshop is unsuitable for children under the age of 14. Children 14+ booking this workshop must be accompanied by a paying adult. This workshop would normally cost you £45.
