As an introduction to autonomous wireless networks, this webinar is designed to discuss the applications of blockchain in 5G wireless network operation. From high number of smallcell deployments to increasing device heterogeneity, 5G networks require certain processes to be automated. A few of these processes; 1) Unlicensed frequency grants, distribution and management, 2) Network optimization with certain performance targets, 3) Software and hardware upgrades on network nodes, 4- Financial transactions inside and outside of the network, and 5- Contracts made among wireless service providers and wireless data consumers. During webinar, Smallcellcoin™, Cryptocurrency of Wireless Networks, will be introduced, and explained in detail.
