BMEIS Hackathon 2026
Overview

Join us for three days of coding, collaboration, and networking with members of BMEIS.

Dates: June 24-26, 2026 (Wednesday to Friday)

Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily

Venue:
Workshop Space, 1st Floor, London Institute for Healthcare Engineering (LIHE)
King's College London, St Thomas' Campus
100 Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1 7AR

Registration Fee: £10 (includes tea, coffee, and hopefully lunch for all 3 days)

Format: Students, post-docs, and PIs are all invited to come together to collaboratively hack for three days, choosing from a range of biomedical computing projects. This is a non-competitive hackathon - participants will be able to work on the project of their choice. Goals could include to learn new skills, experiment with some new ideas and data, or build new collaborations within the department.

Project Ideas: Attendees are encouraged to pitch a project on our github page: https://github.com/KCL-BMEIS/BMEISHackathon26
We welcome any code project that you feel is can acheive significant progress in three days. Please only suggest projects using data that is open/you already have access to.

Some starter example projects are included.
