Book Discovery: Recently published texts you need to know about (Libraries)

Join us for an interactive forum to share exciting new text recommendations for children and young people. This session will explore our favourite contemporary texts as selected by the School Communities team at Scottish Book Trust. We will discuss some of the latest titles across a range of genres and will include fiction, non-fiction, and poetry in our recommendations.

Alongside our recommendations, we'll also be chatting about ways that children and young people's reactions to texts can be incorporated in libraries, and you'll have lots of opportunity to get ideas and share suggestions with practitioners across Scotland.

If you'd like to attend, we'd encourage you to bring along a recently published book that you would like to recommend to other participants! We can't wait to share our curated text suggestions with you and to hear about your selected choices.

This session is suitable for those working in libraries. It will be held as a meeting on Microsoft Teams, with meeting details emailed close to the event.
