Join Persephone Books for the launch of their latest title, ‘Hop, Skip and Jump’ by Winifred Watson, who was a resident of Newcastle her entire life and is also the author of ‘Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day’, Persephone's best-selling title that later became a film starring Amy Adams and Frances McDormand. Francesca Beauman, MD of Persephone Books, will talk about the novel, the author, how Persephone chooses its titles, and more. Copies of ‘Hop, Skip and Jump’ will be for sale at the event.
