Book Launch With Elissa Soave Featuring Reader Q&A
Join us for a lively book launch with Elissa Soave, where you can ask all your burning questions about the story and characters!
Welcome to the Book Launch With Elissa Soave event!
Come join us at Bothwell Community HUB on February 27, 2026 at 7:00 PM for an exciting evening. Hosted by renowned author Gillian Shirreffs, Elissa Soave will be sharing insights about her latest book Common Ground, followed by a Reader Q&A session where you can ask all your burning questions.
Common Ground is Elissa’s third novel. A group of outsiders each have a plot at the local allotments. Initially, they appear to have nothing in common and very little to do with each other but when the allotments are threatened with closure, they have to work together to stop that from happening. Before long, they discover that the allotments are not just plots of land, but a place to find community and connection. Set in Viewpark and Uddingston again, readers of Elissa’s earlier novels will meet up with some familiar faces, notably Wendy and Irish Mary, as well as being introduced to a host of new characters to root for.
‘A warm and tender portrait of a community coming together in crisis – and learning to fight back. Humanity glows from every page’ Karen Campbell
Don't miss this opportunity to connect with fellow book lovers and dive deep into the world of literature. See you there!
