Join me for a fun and hands-on session where you'll make a hardback journal, using traditional bookbinding techniques, from start to finish! This in-person workshop is perfect whether you’re a complete beginner or just curious about the craft.

There are only four learners per workshop,creating a friendly and informal atmosphere; everyone can work at their own pace.

You'll make a journal by collating and sewing the pages, adding end papers, gluing and then trimming the bookblock using a guillotine. A ribbon marker, headbands and reinforcing materials will then be added. You'll then make a cover made of bookcloth and patterned paper before assembling the book. Handouts will be provided of everything we cover.

All materials are included as are hot drinks and biscuits/cake.
